Trafalgar Night Dinner
We very much hope that you can 'do your duty' and join in the CYC Trafalgar Night Celebrations.
As usual they will be held at the clubhouse, we can look forward to a delicious dinner, from Mark Farley of Culinary Affair, the menu choices are below. As ever it will be a friendly sociable occasion with CYC friends old and new.
Our speaker this year is Jill Trew, the brief talk will be about the roles of women aboard navy and other ships around the time of Trafalgar, this will be followed by the traditional toasts.
Please do dress up for the occasion, Union Jack outfits, or Bandera de España, or 'le Tricolore', or if you fancy posh frocks and smart suits, smart casual at the very least, it's an occasion so let's enjoy that!
The Menu;-
Starters
Braised leek and potato soup finished with chive oil and freshly baked roll
Or
Tuna and spring onion bon bons with sweet chilli sauce topped with deep fried leek
Main course
Sliced roast beef, crushed peas vanilla glazed vanilla glazed carrots, dauphinoise potatoes and red wine sauce.
Or
Sweet potato and vegetable gateaux finished with baked halloumi fingers, coriander salad and garlic oil.
Dessert
Plum duff pudding and custard
