Regatta
Cargreen Yacht Club Regatta on 12th September 2026
The annual Cargreen Regatta is open to all PPSA club members with three divisions offered - Cruiser A and B, and White Sail, all on YTC. The White Sail division is intended for cruising folk, beginners and occasional racers, and is specially designed to avoid close encounters.
All divisions start in the Sound from 15:00 with separate time slots and courses which follow the flood tide finishing at Cargreen (HW 19:50) where moorings will be available with water taxis to ferry crews ashore for the bar (card payment only), excellent food and great live music - click for details.
To enter please send an email to Clare Tagg at wsc@cargreenyacht.club or SMS text message to 07866680971 with the following details:
Name of skipper
Name of boat and sail number
Division to be entered
YTC 2026 Handicap
Telephone number of mobile carried onboard
And the following declaration
"I (name of skipper/owner) confirm I have read and agree to comply with the Sailing Instructions for the Cargreen Regatta 2026, in particular to abide by paragraph 7 & 20. Also I agree to pay the entry fee of (£20) on arrival by card payment."
Anyone who has not yet applied for an YTC number or does not have a 2026 updated number are encouraged to do so as soon as possible as the certificate may take several days. It's an easy and free process and can be found at the following link https://rorcrating.com/ryaytc/.
Entries close at 1800 on Friday 11 September but early application is encouraged to assist in planning.
