Dinghy Regatta

We are excited to announce the upcoming CYC Dinghy Regatta, which will be hosted on either July 24-25 or August 27-28. This event is open to all club dinghy sailors, featuring handicap racing. We invite you to express your interest in participating or volunteering to help make this event a success.

Event Details:
Dates: July 24-25 or August 27-28
Eligibility: Open to all club dinghy sailors and boats. Fast boats (>1000 PY) need acceptance via an expression of interest.
Experience Required: Minimum Dinghy Sailing Stage 2 or equivalent.
Boat Availability: Club boats available on a first-come, first-served basis.

RS Vision 3x
Insurance: All participating boats must have a minimum of £2,000,000 insurance and be in a fit state to race.
Additional Information:
Prizes: Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, plus other recognitions (e.g., most improved).
Communication: WhatsApp will be used for alerts, notices, and race-related communications.

We are also in need of some volunteers who are willing to support the weekend by helping out with some of the duties that will need tending to. We welcome any and all;
1 head race officer
1 deputy race officer (if needed)
3 safety boat drivers
3 crew for safety boat
Catering volunteers
