Change of Commodore

It is with regret that I must inform you that I need to step down as Commodore due to an increase in my medical work making it impossible for me to give the Club the attention that you deserve. We discussed this at the committee meeting this week and the Rear Commodore Ross Dyter has very kindly agreed to step up and take over. The committee propose that I effectively swap with Ross and remain on the committee as Rear Commodore to provide support.

In accordance with Articles 33 to 37 of the Club's Articles of Association we need to hold an EGM in a couple of weeks' time to formalise this. Notice of this will follow shortly.

Ross will be taking over once we have conducted a handover. We will hold these positions in an acting capacity until such time as an EGM can be called to formalise the arrangement.
